BattleForge
BattleForge is a real-time strategy game (MMORTS) published by Electronic Arts. It combines both the competitive and social aspect of MMORPGs with flexibility and trading cards. What a combination! The trading cards are all associated with either fire, frost, nature or shadow. Each one of these has specific strengths which can be combined together to create unique strengths for your character.
This 3D action fantasy MMORPG game has werewolves, witches and wyrms and the players are the immortal inhabitants called Skylords. The central area is a floating fortress called the Forge and this is where you interact with other players. At the beginning of the game you will be introduced to the basics by a short tutorial. There’s a world below you that’s been cursed and the Skylords will need to help the inhabitants of the this world survive.
As the game starts, you’ll begin in the practice area of Forge where you can start building up your skills. You can also take advantage of the online store and stock up on some booster packs. You can receive upgrades by completing missions in the PvE and by participating in the PvP arenas and beating your opponents.
After preparing your deck you’re ready to get started. Open the map of the world and select your mission, there are many to choose from. After gaining a certain number of experience points you can join in some of the massive twelve player cooperative battles that can be very exciting. Players can also take part in the PvP action anytime they’re in the mood.
When it comes to the creatures that you’ll be facing and the spells that you’ll use to fight them with, the game is amazing. Some of the options available are not only creative and extraordinary but they could be classified simply as the work of a genius. Although there will be the occasional frozen screen throughout the game, for the most part, the engine handles all of the action smoothly.
BattleForge is an entertaining MMORPG strategy game that has a lot to offer any player. It appears to be the type of game in which the player will get out of it what they put into it. In other words, if you’re willing to invest your time and effort into playing the game to its fullest, you’ll surely get a lot out of it and it will be time well spent.

Neo Steam
Neo Steam is a free MMORPG with loads of fantasy for the player to enjoy. When you first begin playing there will be an opening movie that briefly explains the storyline. This is a nice touch that can help you understand the game better. Basically, the conflict over neo steam (a vital resource) has divided the world into two fractions. These are called the Republic of Rogwel and the Elerd Kingdom and they are constantly battling over the neo steam resources on the world of Chrysalis.
Both factions have seven races and four base classes, which are the exact same but when a player reaches level ten, the second classes are available and these will be different. The mounts, subways and hot air balloons are designed to make traveling easy and they are rather impressive. The makers of this game did a good job with these. Grinding gains you levels and doing quests and killing monsters earns you equipment.
If you choose to join the Republic of Rogwel, then you’ll be joining the industrialist nation that has strong powerful machinery. If you choose the Elerd Kingdom you’ll be dealing mostly with magic and nature. Each race has its own separate continent but there is another piece of land called Taxn, which is considered neutral territory and this is where opposing fractions can fight freely.
Many hardcore gamers may feel that the PvP in Neo Steam has a lot be desired outside of the one reward called the “soul-crystal”, which has a number of different things it can be used for throughout the game. The quests are mostly errands that are not related to the storyline and they are somewhat limited.
There are many players that believe for an action 3D MMORPG there are not enough challenges in the game during the early levels and Neo Steam is lacking when it comes to graphics. Some of the maps don’t show any movements at all, just the lay of the land. However, the terrain is realistic in many places. All in all, this is a Sci-Fi fantasy game that girls and guys alike can have some fun playing. It’s definitely unique and has a lot to offer many gamers.
